Plant of the week: Echinacea

Echinacea is a hardy perennial which is perfect for full sun or partial shaded positions in your garden!

The large flowers provide plenty of colour throughout summer and are favoured by the bees! More commonly known as coneflower as its conical shaped flower heads are well suited for garden borders and containers.

Once the heads have finished flowering cut them off to promote new growth.

Quick Fact: Echinacea will flower through to September and even into October if its a warm Autumn.
